When the Ticket moved to Victory Park, the new studio came equipped with two audio cables the hosts could use to play audio over the air. To distinguish the cables from one another, Gordon picked up the nearest object–a roll of purple electrical tape–and wrapped a piece around one of the cables. Now when the hosts play audio off of their computers, they tell the board op “purple” or “not purple” to let them know which pot they should turn on. As is the nature of the station, that simple bit of communication has grown into much more, and “much more” now includes a t-shirt.

Because we think that shipping costs and sales tax are evil merchant tricks, this BaD Radio Shirt comes for a flat fee of $20.
